Revelation 4:1  After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this."

Revelation 3:19-22  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.  (20)  Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.  (21)  To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.  (22)  "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." |The Blue Door is about opening the door of our hearts to Yeshua, going in to the Throne Room, and learning to see the things which MUST take place after this from God's perspective.

There is much to watch, pray, and be ready for.  Every time Jesus spoke of His return, He told His friends to watch, pray, and/or be ready.  There is a promised generation ...one that makes itself ready... that will see heaven open.  In one generation, the entire Bride is going to walk through the same door John did.  The Lord called me to help with that.  I get to help hold the door for Jesus' friends, so as many as want to can walk through a little more easily.

When you walk into a place with others and you hold the door open for someone, you aren't really doing anything they can't do for themselves, you are just trying, in a small way, to love and honor the people around you.

Samantha and I have a home in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  We have three amazing adult sons, one amazing daughter-in-law, and two amazing soon-to-be-daughters-in law!  Vocationally, we are environmental consultants and we work together in the small firm we started in 2002.

Our main passion since 2011 has been preparing for the return of Yeshua!  We have been a part of starting several houses of prayer and I have had a teaching ministry that has grown out of that calling.  We have both participated in thousands of prophetic prayer-to-music meetings over the last 13 years.

In 2016, we started a House of Prayer and a church called "Lighthouse of Prayer" with several of our friends.  In 2022, we stepped down from our leadership positions as God readied us to transition to a new season of life.  We still are deeply connected to LightHOP and it is our home church when we are home.

In this season, God has called Samantha and I away to Jerusalem for extended (roughly three month blocks) periods of time to help prepare the city for Yeshua's return in prayer and worship. This is exciting and a little scary.  We are stepping away from our vocation and small consulting practice as our full time occupation into something we don't fully understand yet.

Although we aren't soliciting donations, and gifts to us are not tax deductible, some friends have expressed a call to give a gift into this transitional period. We are so encouraged to see God already making a way forward into the unknown.

If you would like to give a gift toward our time in Israel, you can do that via PAYPAL,

CASHAPP,  or VENMO
